Snowbird Ski Resort is located in Cottonwood Canyon in the Wasatch Ranges, east of Salt Lake City. Access is an easy on a 45 minutes transfer from Salt Lake City International Airport to the base of the mountain, where skiers and snowboarders are welcomed to enjoy the extensive terrain.

Snowbird enjoys the longest ski season in Utah, often opening before Thanksgiving, and with the right snowfall, can last right until the 4th of July! Not only is the season long, but the terrain spans over 2,500 acres, and 3,200+ feet of vertical.

Snowbird offers over 143 runs, accessed by 13 lifts plus the Aerial Tram, accessing over 2,500 acres of pristine Utah slopes. Beginner terrain makes up 27% of terrain, and is protected on the low, mellow slopes on the mountain. Intermediate (38%) and Advanced to Expert (37%) terrain make up the majority of the mountain, with plenty for skiers and snowboarders to explore, including one terrain park.

The Aerial Tram is the fastest way to the top, with a wide variety of steeps, trees, glades and bowls to choose from. Enjoy top to bottom leg burners, pick a different route each run and you’ll hardly make the same turn twice at Snowbird!

Mineral Basin is tucked over the back of Hidden Peak, accessed at the top of the Aerial Tram, or via the tunnel, and provides a wide open basin for intermediate levels and above. Access to Alta via the interconnect is available to skiers only from Mineral Basin..
