Our Residence is ideally situated on the piste and welcomes you in warm and convivial surroundings. For your comfort : restaurant, supermarket, ski-shop, pub and ski-school office, reception, lounge with games, conference room, free wifi access. Le Chamois d'Or, situated at the start of Val Thorens's piste, opens ideally on the 3 Valleys ski area with 600 km of piste and more than 200 ski lifts. Located in the center of the resort and close to the ski-school meet point, you have a direct access on the piste from the ski local. To have a pleasant stay in winter or in summer, our residence proposes you furnished accommodations (180 lodging from the studio 2 persons to the apartment 6 persons between 20 and 67 m2). All our accommodations have a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette, free Wifi access and free satellite television (flat screen). For your convenience, with your family or friends, le Chamois d'Or includes services and facilities : Reception, supermarket, pub, ski-shop, restaurant, ski-school office, conference room and lounge with games. THE FOLLOWING CHARGES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS RATE (PAID LOCALLY) Sheets towels not included: * Kit sheets for 1 person (80cm bed) = 10€ / kit. * Kit sheets for 2 persons (bed 130/140) = 10.30€ / kit. * Kit towels = 10.30€ / kit * Garage of the residence = 74 € / week / car less than 1.90 meters high. Getting Around
Val Thorens is a compact, pedestrian-friendly resort where most properties are ski-in ski-out or just steps from the slopes. The entire village is walkable, but a free shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes for added convenience. The main hub, Place de Caron, is the lively centrepiece where lifts, restaurants, shops, and après venues converge. Accessing other parts of Les 3 Vallées is easy via gondolas and chairlifts directly from the village, making it simple to ski over to Méribel or Courchevel for the day.
 
Getting to Val Thorens
Travelling from Australia to Val Thorens typically involves a flight into Geneva or Lyon with one stopover in Asia or the Middle East. From Geneva, it’s around a 2.5-hour private transfer, while Lyon takes about 3 hours. The Moutiers train station, located 45 minutes from the resort, is another option for those connecting by rail. Many ski packages include transfers to make your journey seamless from airport to alpine.
