The town of Revelstoke is in British Columbia, Canada, and is located just off the Trans Canada Highway. The main gateway airports are either Kelowna or Calgary. It is two hours north of Kelowna airport (199km), 5 hours west of Calgary (413km), and 2 hours east of Kamloops.

Revelstoke has a combination of apartments (or condo’s as they say), hotels and smaller B&B or cabin type accommodation with the option to stay on the snow or downtown. Staying on mountain means you have awesome access to lifts, restaurants, bars & ski school facilities.

Skiing & Snowboarding Revelstoke
Revvy is BIG in every way with 3,121 acres if terrain loads of verticals and record-breaking snowfall. Revelstoke received a whopping 80ft of snow in one season (which is the record). Although Revelstoke offers some beginner terrain, this mountain is most suitable for more intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders looking to discover more challenging terrain. Hunting for more powder, Revelstoke also offers the more daring skiers and snowboarders heliskiing and cat skiing options.
Getting around Revelstoke
Getting around the resort is easy as the village is currently very small. Downtown Revelstoke is compact and easily accessed on foot, but don’t wear your good boots. Snow removal is a major problem for Revelstoke and there are commonly piles of sloppy snow everywhere.
 
To get from town to the resort is a Revelstoke Transit shuttle between the resort and a few points in the town. self-drive provides the most convenient and flexible way to get to the mountain.
 
Top Things to do in Revelstoke in Winter
Revelstoke is heli-skiing central, but that is not all the mountain has to offer. You can participate in cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and mountain tour. For the tame hearted there is the Revelstoke Aquatic Centre, The Revelstoke Museum and Archives, The Roxy Theatre and for relaxation there are a variety of day spas.

Nightlife is more vibey in town, if you want après on mountain head to Rockford Bar & Grill otherwise try The Village Idiot Bar and Grill or head to the distillery at Monashee Spirits.

Again, most eateries are located in town, but if you are staying on Revelstoke Mountain Resort itself, the Sutton Place Hotel has a restaurant, bar and coffee shop & mid-mountain you will find Rockford Bar & Grill.
Head into town and try 112 Restaurant for dinner and cocktails. During the day, Main Street Café is a great breaky or lunch option. As many people choose to stay in self-contained accommodation, there is always the option to dine in.
