Deer Valley was named the #1 ski resort in North America by readers of SKI Magazine an impressive three years in a row – in 2008, 2009 and again in 2010. Deer Valley Resort has become known for revolutionizing ski area service. Since opening in 1981, we have been committed to providing a level of care rarely found at a ski resort, delivering classic, consistent and quality service both on and off the mountain.
Old-fashioned sleigh rides, Cross-country skiing: groomed-track skiing and back-country tours, Snowshoeing in the dramatic back-country of the Wasatch and Uinta mountain ranges, Hot air ballooning, Heli-skiing, Historic Park City is alive with shopping, art galleries, theaters, bars and clubs.
The Deer Valley ski resort in the Wasatch Mountain Range is very close to downtown Park City, Utah, USA. It is only 38.3 miles (62km) from the Salt Lake City International Airport, which can take 40-60 minutes by road depending upon conditions.
Most Deer Valley lodging is in close proximity to one of the many lifts, so only a short walk (or ski) is required to get to the ski area. To get between the Snow Park and Silver Lake areas of Deer Valley, non-skiers can get a free public bus, but these only come every 30 minutes (hourly after 6:15pm).
