Best time to ski in USA
Snowfall typically starts in late November, with most resorts opening in December. By late December, villages and accommodations are in full Christmas decoration mode and operating at full capacity. Cold weather, high altitudes, and good snowfall keep resorts open until March or early April. The cheapest times to ski are usually pre-Christmas and March to April, while the busiest period is around Christmas and the New Year.
