Thredbo Village is the cosmopolitan snow capital of Australia where you can party hard from dusk til dawn, experience memorable dining in one of twenty different cafés and restaurants and enjoy great live music. On a Saturday there is an added visual spectacular with the Flare Run and fireworks display on the Crackenback Supertrail.
Getting around the village is easy with the complimentary shuttle service which operates every day. There are also 2,500 car park spaces in the village with many of the lodges offering on-site parking.
There is plenty to keep the kids occupied, with a variety of kids clubs such as Thredboland and Thredbo Freeriders. The kids can even ski free during early June and September holidays.
The Thredbo Leisure Centre has an array of equipment to satisfy any fitness freak, or you can tackle the boulder wall, shoot some hoops, play squash or indoor soccer. Or maybe you would prefer to enjoy a dip or do some laps in the heated pool which boasts 4 x 50m and 4 x 25m lanes.
Twilight riding is up there on the “must do” list on a snow holiday. Every Thursday and Saturday evening in July and August you can keep on riding as the Easy Does It chairlift on Friday Flat remains open until 7:30pm. Even better news- it’s free from 4:30pm to 7:30pm.
