If you are looking for something which combines skiing with a cultural element, then we would highly recommend a family ski-cation to Naeba. Flying into Tokyo, you will have the option of bus transfers or travelling on one of Japan’s famous bullet trains to the mountain, an experience everyone will enjoy.

Naeba Ski Resort is purpose built ski resort, boasting family-friendly facilities, and as Japan is known for, excellent snowfall. Naeba offers two ski areas, Mt. Naeba and Kagura, connected by Japan’s longest gondola, the Dragondola. The resort also has snow play areas in a few locations throughout the resort and childcare options, perfect for the days when parents are wanting to shred that fresh Ja-Pow.

We recommend families stay at the Prince Hotel Naeba, which includes buffets and a great selection of dining options that cater for most palates. With ski in access, equipment hire on site & excellent English speaking ski instructors, its a convenient place for the whole family to learn to ski, or develop their skills.
