Palisades Tahoe boasts a diverse range of terrain across its two main areas: Olympic Valley and Alpine Meadows. With 3,600 acres at Olympic Valley and 2,400 acres at Alpine Meadows, skiers and snowboarders can enjoy wide-open bowls, steep chutes, and groomed runs. The resort features a vertical drop of 870m and receives an average of 10+ metres of snowfall annually, ensuring excellent conditions throughout the season. Popular runs include the iconic KT-22 and the mellow slopes of Shirley Lake.

Traveling to Palisades Tahoe from Australia is straightforward. The closest major airport is Reno-Tahoe International Airport, approximately a one-hour drive from the ski resort. Direct flights from major Australian cities into the US such as LAX or San Fran, connect to a short domestic flight to Reno. Alternatively, you can enjoy a scenic 4-5 hour drive from San Francisco to Palisades Tahoe.

Getting around Palisades Tahoe is convenient, thanks to its comprehensive shuttle service that connects the Village at Palisades Tahoe with Alpine Meadows. The 16-minute gondola ride between the two mountains provides seamless access to all the resort's terrain.
