Getting to Appi Kogen Ski Resort:
If you're traveling from Australia, book your flights to Narita or Haneda Airports in Tokyo. Appi Kogen is situated approximately 580 km north of Tokyo and 50 km from Morioka, which is the most common route to reach Appi.
From Tokyo, Morioka is easily accessible by bullet train, taking only about 2 hours. From the train station, you can take a bus to Appi Kogen, rent a car, or catch another train to Appi Kogen station.
Depending on your accommodation, most facilities are within walking distance, accessible by skiing, or via shuttle. Once you've checked in, navigating the area is straightforward. Rental shops, ski lockers, and numerous dining options are directly accessible from the snow.
