Our Lift Tickets tips for Whistler

Whistler is made up of two adjacent world-class ski resorts Whistler & Blackcomb, together these resorts offer over 8,000 acres of terrain and 240 runs as well as plenty of off-piste areas to explore. There is so much variety, which allows visitors and locals to come back year on year, for a different experience each time. Run range from gentle slopes to steep bowls and wide-open groomers to exhilarating tree skiing. If that isn’t enough, Whistler also has 5 terrain parks! There is truly something for everyone, from the first timer to the expert shredder and everything in between.

Both Whistler and Blackcomb are on the one lift ticket, skiers and snowboarders can explore everything these two resorts have to offer for one price. The two resorts are connected by the peak-to-peak gondola, this one of a kind lift is the longest and also the highest of its kind, reaching 436m above the ground and connecting 3 gondolas. The 4.4km long ride takes approximately 11 minutes and connects riders to all 8000+ acres of skiable terrain. This incredible gondola is also a popular attraction for non-skiers, who are also able to take a joyride to the summit for an incredible view of Whistler.

Another popular option for avid skiers and snowboarders is to purchase an Epic Pass for Whistler. The Epic pass comes in three options, the Epic Pass, the Epic Local Pass and the Epic Day Pass which all allow a variety of different access depending on which option you choose. For example, the Epic Pass allows unlimited access to Whistler Blackcomb and is a great value option for visitors who plan on staying a longer time or people that tend to do more than one ski resort per year. The Epic Pass allows access to multiple destination per pass so you can ski both the Southern and Northern Hemisphere season or visit multiple resorts in Canada on one snow holiday. For more information about Epic passes or to work out if they are the best option for you, ask our team of ski specialists.

Whistler offers excellent early bird lift passes each year, booking in advance often means saving hundreds of dollars. Generally, lift passes are released in 3 stages and the closer to travel the smaller the discount, so make sure to enquire early for the best rates!
