Top things to do in Big Sky
Obviously skiing & snowboarding are the most popular activity, but Nordic skiing is also massive in Big Sky. We highly recommend adding a visit (or a few nights) to Yellowstone National Park, which is only an hour away from the ski resort. Big Sky has all the usual winter activities, such as tubing, dog sledding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and sleigh rides. The resort also offers ziplining and does have a Solace day spa for those that like to relax when they aren’t on the slopes.
Best dining and Apres in Big Sky
Best Après in Big Sky:
Big Sky doesn’t have a huge party vibe, for après head to Montana Jack for craft beer and burgers or the Westward Social for Drinks, DJ’s and cocktails. Otherwise grab a few drinks & make your own fun!

Best Restaurants in Big Sky:
For something special head to Evertt’s 8800 for a luxe lunch. The quaint alpine cabin has an excellent wine list and spectacular views from 8800 feet, take note of the hearted seats on the Ride Ramcharger 8 lift! Another unique dining option is the Montana Yurt Dinner, the evening starts with a trip on a snowcat and as the name suggests you enjoy a 3-course meal in a yurt.

For budget friendly meals head to Visita Hall for a cafeteria style selection including there is Stone Fired Pizza, a deli, Mexican, Burgers or Sushi.
